I have a HDR-FOX T2 which is a couple of years old now, i have recently moved house into a new build property, the guy fitted the aerial and found that they had wired the aerial cable into the wrong bit on the media plate on the wall, instead of wiring it to the aerial port, they have wired it to the return port, but the picture does show fine with no pixilation etc, so he said its the wrong port but still works fine so i will leave it.

In the move the aerial port on the humax box with bent a bit with the cable still attached, its not loose but is a little bent, as i say the picture still shows fine.

Since moving into the property i have found i am having alot of issues with failed recordings, which just show 0 mins and have a lightening as a picture next to them. some record ok but dome dont, i have set the padding times to try and fix this but its still doing it.

yesterday i turned the tv and humax box on and the unit had reset itself saying no channels found, so i re-tuned it and after it had tuned it still said something about needing to re-tune again, it seems ok now though, also after iturned the unit off then back on after that happened the electric in the house also all went off and i had to turn it back on.

So basically, im not sure if my recording issues are related to the aerial fixing or the unit itsself.

    any ideas?

Are you sure you are only tuned to one transmitter?

Look for channel numbers over 800. If you are tuned to more than one manual tuning is the answer.
