Which Dongle Can I Get !!!

    Hi There,

    Been in touch with Humax UK by email they sign posted me Amazon and recommended I purchase Humax WLAN 11n Dongle there are two different dongles under this discription on Amazon WHY 0002 and 0003 any suggestions which one I choose, or is there any other Wifi Dongles I can purchase.

    My Unit is HDR Fox T2

    The specific dongle that Humax support were referring to is this one

    Other dongles that work are those that have the ralink RT3070 chipset. For a lot of these dongles ebay is a lot cheaper and in my experience a lot easier to get both the price and the cost of P&P back if the seller has miss-described.

    The compatible dongles do vary a lot both in ability to pick up distant wifi signals and how irritating the led light is.

    This one has no annoyingly bright flashing light, can be bought relatively cheaply and although it has an antenna I probably rank its ability to pick up a signal as middling.

    It is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos. If there is not much room at the back of your HDR-FOX T2 then you may need to use a short quality USB cable to reposition it, but that could also help you place it for good reception.
