Why does the HDR2000T still show Tv shows in 4.3 that were clearly filmed in 16.9 we have Star Trek TOS in full screen yet NCIS made in 2004 in 4.3 ?is there a way around this ?

When CBS Action showed Series 2 they also broadcast the 4:3 version. You could try Channel 5 to enquire which version they bought and if it was 16:9 whether they are aware that the are broadcasting 4:3.

I think we can safely say this one is down to Channel 5. They have always shown the early series in 4:3 and I would assume they must have bought them this way. (Why?) As for CBS Action. I assume they must have done the same.
