I would like to get a wifi dongle for my T1000 but don't know how to find the chipset number to see if it is compatible. Can anyone advise me please?

    Welcome to our Forum

Wifi is not supported on any of the youview units....however you can use something like a TP Link nano router, I use the WR 702n on a DTR T2000.

Link for reference only, you might find it cheaper elsewhere.

Thank you but I notice this needs an Ethernet cable to connect.
Our problem is that the 'older' TV on the top floor of our house does not have HMDI or Ethernet sockets. We were hoping that we could get a Wifi dongle to use with the T1000 to connect our present network.

The Ethernet cable connects between the nano router and the DTR, as does a usb cable to power device, all should be included with nano router.

You plug the ethernet cable into the WiFi bridge and the Humax (it can be as short as you like) and the rest of the connection is by wireless.
