    hdr1000s ok just got it got all the cables connected and internet on through a dongle just car'nt see how you get youtube on?

    Youtube should be in the on demand section along with iplayer etc.

    Home - Humax - On Demand - You Tube. If you then scroll up to sign in and settings and select pair device and note the code you can use a PC or a tablet to search for content and watch it via the Humax on your TV.

    so let me get this right do you have to pair your humax box up to something before you can watch anything on youtube?

    No you do not have to pair, you can use the app straight from the on demand menu.

    No not at all, as Barry said you can use it by just selecting from the on demand menu with the remote.
    However if you do have a smartphone or tablet, syncing the two together can make navigation a whole lot easier with regards to searching for videos.
