    Hi, I have a Freeview YouView box which has been Mostly OK for the past 10 months. It would occasionally hang. Today it hung again and I am unable to get beyond the starting up message. I have tried unplugging from the mains etc, but nothing works. Does anyone have a fix?

    Hi -

    You could try the Maintenance Mode Recovery instructions at http://videos.youview.com/support/maintenance_mode.pdf

    This has revived my box more than once, but unfortunately you may find that the issue recurs. Check your warranty, you may need it.
