Hi, I have an HB100S. When I go to the tv guide the little picture on the right, that displays the channel you are watching, goes and is replaced by a message " Receiving data..." however it doesn't with all Channels. Can anybody offer any help please..?

In other words, leave it for a few minutes until it has received all the data.

Hello Barry, thanks for the welcome and quick reply..!

Do I have to wait every time I turn the box on or change channel..?

I've had it for a year and I never noticed this until about a month ago. I've left it spinning away for 15 minutes with no change.

Just did a software update and made no difference .

Does it happen every time you go to the EPG, or only the first use each day?

    Which channels?

The timing sounds like it could be related to the recent update. I've not seen this behaviour on my HB1000S but if you can answer these questions I'll see if I can reproduce it.

The box checks automatically and updates itself if it finds new software. New software was released a few weeks ago.

As per the FAQ, my experience (I have reset unit a few times for test purposes) receiving data can last from 1 min 30 secs to just over 3 minutes, but once complete I have never witnessed it again as EPG updates in background if receiver is on.

My HB-1000S is infrequently used and currently has an empty schedule - I have seen this several times - I just ignore it.
I have had stuff scheduled for several weeks until a few days ago and during this period have not seen it.

The answer to which channels could be interesting (please post signal levels on that/those channels as well).
