Is there a way to set padding time at beginning and end of recordings on Freesat 1100S. Had this feature on previous Humax boxes but can't find it on 1100S.Thanks anyone

Settings - General Settings - Recordings - Start Padding Time (2 mins, 5mins, 10 mins End Padding Time (as start settings).

Be aware that the broadcaster can then not control start and end using accurate recording.

    Settings
    General settings
    Recording

    Start padding time
    End padding time

Note: Recording menu not available if unit is actually recording when accessed.

If the previous Humax box was an 800, 9200, 9150 or 9300 then you might want to try without padding for a test period as the accurate recording feature works much better on the current generation of boxes.

Thanks everyone. Problem solved. It was the fact that the recording menu item for padding under settings does not show if the box is actually recording so searching for the setting while recording led to my query. I have had a couple of problems whereby the last few minutes of recordings were cut off so just wanted to give 5 minutes or so of overrun as an insurance.
