Hi, I decided to replace my Foxsat HDR with the 1100S.
With the Foxsat, I use an HDMI splitter to feed 2 TVs and it's fine.
However, with the 1100S, I get no signal on both TVs. I have tried a second splitter and also an HDMI switch, all with the same results!
Has anybody sucessfully used a splitter with the 1100S and, if so, which one is it?
If I can't sort the problem then the 1100 is useless!!
    Any help much appreciated.

Try changing the output to 1080i. The Foxsat-HDR doesn't have 1080p out.

To work at 1080p via a splitter both connected TV's must support progessive.

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion but it makes no difference - still no output to either TV! So much for progress!

Is the splitter a powered type ? One works with my HDR1000S but it's on the output of a AV receiver so works with all the kit connected to it.

It is though a balun based splitter using cat6 cable with it's own power and built in infra red.

Hi, my splitter is powered, one HDMI in, 2 HDMI out. I have 2 of them and both fail to work with the 1100S, although both worked with the Foxsat HDR! The silly thing is that the 2 TVs are only about 1m apart! The only other option, I suppose is to feed one TV from the HDMI and the other vioa composite video plus sound. I have tried this and it works fine, so long as I use 1080i, not 1080p as it produces a smeared image via composite video.
    Thanks for your suggestion.
