funny you should mention series link.....
It normally works for me, except for one that I tried to link.
It will record the particular program, but not series link.:-(

Why? Is it a private conversation that needs the rest of us excluding?
The quote button is at the bottom of the thread, not the top, and editing the quoted message is a damn nightmare. There is also and Edit button there as well so you can change/correct your own posts.

My Humax 5000T works well with my new LG 43UM7400PLB. One oddity was that box kept defaulting to 576i poss due to HDCP handshake issues (thanks to contributor Grahamlthompson for help). Keeping the box on 1080i has helped. My older HDR-Fox T2 had problems playing any sound possibly due to copy protection HDCP software issues

New 55" OLED (LG) up and running. No problems with FVP-5000T, HDR-1000S, And Foxsat-HDR. However the picture quality of SD content really shows up the amount of scaling required. HD pictures are good with direct viewing of HD from the Foxsat-HDR being the worst. Standard blu-ray looks very good and 4K UHD HDR disks jaw dropping sound and pictures. TV sound on it's own is surpisingly good. Has Dolby Atmos on board. Netflix Blue Planet 2 on 4K firestick is excellent but not as good as the UHD blu ray disks.

All except the Foxsat are set to output at 1080p50.

    OK.

I now have the LG OLED 55" B9, and have to say am very pleased with the PQ so far.
TBO I don't notice a great improvement to my ex Pioneer 5090, apart from it being a smart TV, which is handy.
But I assume I will, when more 4K material arrives...Right?

    So the free-sat channel's...... I'm happy with.

    Thanks for the input guys.

Edit...by the way, I got £250 for my kuro in the end.

Another thing I & the wife find frustrating is the remote.
When we've recorded something, and play back, we do the usual of fast forwarding through the blessed adverts.
Press the fast forward and it doesn't go fast until we've pressed the FF button several times, It hangs for quite a while.
Is this something others fin, and is there a cure?

I prefer to skip through adverts rather than fast forward. There are no dedicated skip keys on the FVP models but it is easy enough to do using this FAQ https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/how-to-use-skip-function
