Have seen that Seagate ACE type drives are recommended replacements but not easy to find. Does anyone know if Maxtor Diamond Max 10 IDE drives which run at 7200 rpm, SAY 250GB - 320GB are suitable in a 9200T. Not really interested in SATA.

I think your chances of finding anyone who has used a Maxtor are slim; if you have one to hand then try it.
