My 9300T won't boot up. It briefly shows the 'application loader' and progress bar moving across then just goes blank. I've tried powering up with the SATA drive disconnected, but no joy. Any help would be appreciated (before I have to bin it).

You have done the critical test and it failed. If it was me I wouldn't waste any more time and consign it to the bin. You can extract any important recordings from the hard drive using humaxrw and they will play on more modern Humax boxes and quite possibly boxes from other manufacturers.

Thank you Martin. I haven't heard of humaxrw. What is that?

It is a utility written by user xyz321 to allow recordings on a hard drive from a PVR 9200/9150/9300 to be copied to a PC and optionally copied back to the Humax hard drive.

Assuming you still have the 9300t I've had same problems in the to past , I bought a new Humax fvp 5000 in Dec . Then I got the 9300t working again, open the left flip down. Keep your finger on the stand by button.it should boot up properly . Don't put it on stand by again, if you our do by mistake , do sa mm e again.
