Hi Folks,
Thanks for your input, just checked and it looks like the next OTA for the 9300 is on 22/02/12. If I remember I'll leave the box in standby, if not I'll do a manual update.

As you're aware of when the software is being transmitted it would probably be best to do the update manually, that way you will instantly see if the update is successful or not.

Well Folks,

Tried to do a manual update yesterday and it failed, no idea what the channel and frequescy should be and I guess the defaults were wrong.

Did however work fine on the automatic update, box now records programmes as it should. Hopefully that's the end of my problems.
