Samsung plasma(don't no model number as would have to take it of the wall) a few years old now but only had problems since newest firmware.

I have seen reports that Humax may have started to support CEC in this release. I see Samsung's name coming up more than other brands with HDMI issues. Just a thought but have you tried CEC with this software release?

I have exactly the same problems as you re the hdmi link. My TV is a Toshiba.
Humax are in denial that it is their problem.

Well tested for a few days all seems good but now and then i get flickering and black screen just for a second or two not sure if this is related or a signal issue but again never had any of this until this update. This might sound funny but when i have standby mode on power save i'm back to square one cant get a signal but when i change it to normal it works fine.

Hope they are looking into this.

No logical reason why displaying the clock should make any difference at all. Are you sure?

I'm not sure of anything but that's what works for me. Still get the faded out resolution and missing settings(randomly)until i reboot my box then its fine again. Will get a picture next time it happens.
