I'm new to this box and forum.
Has the Android Home Page changed since the manual was written. I don't see the three icons down the left hand side as shown on page 11?
Am I doing something wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. Google play store is set to auto update by default, so you will have the latest version of Android Home installed.
