    Yes, but at a time when the BBC is in some respects fighting for its future you would think they would want to rope in as many viewers as they possibly can, not piss them off.

    Licence-fee-paying viewers, yes. Live restart presents a bit of a puzzle in this respect. Does the chase-streaming of a live programme require a licence, I wonder?
