    Hi,
I am interested in buying the HD box, but before I do, I would like to know if it is possible to browse photos (as you would if you had them on a usb stick) by simply connecting your digital camera to the box using a usb link cable? (as you would if transfering your files to a computer)
    Thanks in advance
    Joe

If the camera looks like a USB mass storage device with FAT32 formatted storage may be. But more likely to work is a a cheap usb to flash memory pen.

    Welcome by the way.

I had not thought of that!

I would appreciate if someone could confirm either of the above methods as working, as this is a fundamental reason for purchasing this unit.

    Cheers

I've had success with both methods. Plugging my Sony camera directly in and using a cheap USB SD card reader (<£2) with the SD card.

It is going to depend on how the camera presents itself over USB. If drivers are required for a PC then it is unlikely to work with the Humax.
