On demand has not loaded for a few days. I went onto 'help and info' and tried to access 'internet connection' but a message came up stating 'not supported file format'. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How is your box connected to your router ? If Wireless can you run a temporary cable to your router network switch ?

Try restarting the router and when the reboot is finished, restart the HB-1000S. Then check the HB-1000S has acquired an IP address.
