Once signed in working OK on a 5000T - currently streaming Abba:The Missing 40 Years.
Will check a 4000T shortly.
Edit Working on a 4000T as well.

I just tried it and couldn't log in using my 5000T.
After quite a struggle, involving re-registering, via https://activate.channel5.com (or at least renewing my password) and then supplying to my laptop a 6 letter code from the TV, I finally got My5 to work.
Even so, after all that mucking about, it was very slow to start playing a programme which I selected.
Not an easy experience I would say, despite having used it in the past.

Just tried My5 and get a blank screen. Other apps seem ok
Any advice appreciated| Sat 4 Nov 2023 16:53:56 #5 | -
Been Using Humax box for a couple of years now and been quite happy, But recently '5' has been riduculously slow to respond, Keeps going back to the beginning of the episode when ads come up and now will not do anything at all.
Just a blank screen Anyone any Ideas, we have retuned the router, switched off and disconnected the humax and reloaded again and still nothing, all other apps seem to be fine| Wed 5 Mar 2025 18:04:41 #7 | -
I'm having exactly the same issues with my 5000T (was continually going back to start of episode, then on Wednesday went to blank screen and has stayed there). All Channel 5 could suggest was reloading the app - I can't see how I can do that.

There was a recent major update to the version of the app installed on my Android phone. I wonder if in making that change there was an associated back end change that stopped the app working properly on older devices which are unlikely to get the necessary update needed to keep them working?
Which is why it is preferable to have a Chromecast or Firestick dongle to cater for streaming services as they are less likely to become obsolete and even if they do and a newer model is needed that can be done at a relatively small cost.
