    Good morning forum
Has there been a result upgrade that might affect my picture quality? Suddenly the colour and brightness has changed, and despite changing it on my telly, it's not coming through to the box. I guess I have it linked up wrong so will have to sort that out but until now I've had a great picture so it hasn't been a problem. Thanks GOW

Firstly it's unlikely that any software update would have caused the problems you describe.
Has the the picture quality changed when viewing the TV direct, i.e. not via the Humax.
If your normal TV picture is unafected it sounds as if that particular auxilary / HDMI socket picture levels have changed. Have you tried pluging the Humax feed into another auxilary / HDMI input on the TV?

Hello Fedman - thanks for taking the time to reply - the telly is fine so I'll do as you suggest and find another hdmi port on the television. It's probably not as bad as I imagine but once you notice something like pinks being VERY pink - it does start to drive you mad!

This forum is great, there's a lot for those in the know but always someone willing to help those of us who don't quite know so much.. !

You could also try another HDMI cable (or push the existing plugs in firmly). It's worth noting that picture adjustments made on the TV are normally input specific. Any adjustments made will usually only affect the HDMI input selected at the time of the adjustments.
