    Hi All.
I'm in the running for a new PVR and the Aura seems to be winning.

From a brief look through this forum, it seems that SD TV shows can be copied to a PC (once I get my hands on an Aura, I can play around with how to do that.... over wifi...)

BUT I'm wondering if you copy radio shows to a pc, if they will play without having to do some jiggery-pokery to get them into a format that the media players (VLC) can read straight off?

I have a FVP-5000T and a set of radio shows/audio files that I haven't had time to 'fix' sitting on my pc. (I know how to fix them, just haven't had the time)

    Thanks for your advice.

I've just tried this on a random BBC radio program, and you are able to successfully transfer the radio program to your PC, and play it unaltered in VLC.

The file downloads as a .ts (Transport Stream), which VLC can play natively without conversion. The file had a bit-rate of 192kbps & sampling rate of 48kHz.

If you want to convert the .ts file to a (much smaller) MP3 file, this is also possible. I tried this using Audacity, and it worked fine.

    Hope this helps.
