    Hi

I want to copy my recordings off of my PVR9150T - I have seen a post here that says that you can do this by recording the output to a DVD (assuming you have a DVD recorder). Otherwise you have to take the cover off and connect the HDD to another pc - are those really the only options??

    Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately for the 9150T those are the only options.

Of the 2 I would suggest the easier in the long run (less time consuming) is to remove the hard drive and connect to the PC via a cradle or adapter and copy off all the recordings using humaxrw. (from here) The recordings will be playable with VLC or similar.
It is not advised to try copying them back after a format.
A reminder that if using Windows do not allow Windows to initialise the drive.
