Any idea what would couse instability on th freesat box with 4.0.8?

I can only intermittently conect via the web browser or FTP client. It works one moment then shortly after I click on an option in the web browser and it cannot display the page.

There is no known instability in the ftp client. The web server (Google's open source mongoose) does have occaisional problems but it is not know why - thoughts are the Foxsat just runs out of steam.

You can see the status and control mongoose and other services via telnet using the service command. For example:
    service
    service start mongoose

Advice is wait unil mongoose fully finishes a task before starting another.

If you have ftp problems I would suspect other causes such as network.

I am using IE 9.0.08112 and File Zilla client. Both the IE and the FileZila client cannot connect. Then all of a sudden they can connect then not.

Normal operation on the freesat unint in that programs can be watched or recorded withoyt any issues at all.

(Obvioulsy I was not watching a program whilst trying to conect. And yes the unit is switched on)

How are you connecting - using the ip or foxsat_hdr? If using ip and DHCP you should make a address reservation in your router so that the ip cannot change.
