Delay before channels appear

Hello,

I've had a problem for a while when my HD FOX T2 is switched on from standby. It can take about 20 minutes for programs to appear, longer for HD programs. The message starts off as program is scrambled, then changes to no program is broadcast. Eventually the program will slowly appear, badly pixillated at first, but will become normal after a few minutes. Everything is now fine until it is switched back to standby. This makes any recording difficult. It seemed to start after a retune. I've tried further retunes, factory resets, and software reinstalls to no avail. I live in NW England, and my transmitter is Winter Hill.

Assuming you have a HD-FOX-T2 do you have a usb recording drive attached ? Or is the box in fact a HDR-FOX-T2 (internal recording drive) ?

It's a USB disk.

Sadly, it has completely failed now. It won't switch on at all, the LED on the front just keeps going round. Is a repair possible? If not can I get access to my recordings?
