Try using FTP if you're au fait with that? Much quicker download speed (I've observed) and the FTP client may have some failsafes built in.

FTP client needs enabling in the Aura's settings, then the username is aura and password 0000 at the same IP address you're getting the WebControl page at.

I've not had http downloads fail, so can't help on the specifics other than make that alternative suggestion.

Dowloaded File 4.7GB. Note the 50fps

Guessing your network is the issue. Are You wireless connected. Mine is wired.

Going to upscale to 720p and reduce framerate to 25fps. Will make the fille smaller and increase resolution to 720p HD

    I will post results later

It appears the problem was with Chrome Dev. Uninstalled this and
re-activated the standard Chrome and all now OK.

    Excellent

Upscaled 25fps 720p file (now 1.43 GB). Upscaled with free vidcoder software

I could cut out the ads with the best mpeg ediror out there (not free).

However the new small update has fixed the mpeg pixellation issues so might as well watch this recording direct from the box.
