    Hi,
Our Foxsat HDR in a regular basis fails to record a program this has been going on for years but has more so in recent months. I have checked all I can, re-tuned ect but all I've done makes no difference. We live in the Medway area of kent. I have had Humax recorders for at least ten years and this problem has always been there. Is there any solution out there?

Could be a broadcaster series CRID issue. If you post the programmme I can set to check. It can also happen when say BBC1-HD Scotland shows a different episode to England. Easiest solution is delete the other nations channels Leaving only your own. You get multiple recordings generated which fail when there is more than 2.

    970 BBC 2 Scotland
    971 BBC 2 Wales HD
    972 BBC ONE HD (England)
    973 BBC 1 Scot HD
    974 Channel 4
    975 Channel 4 + 1
    976 BBC 1 Wales HD
    977 ITV
    978 BBC 1 NI HD
    979 BBC Two Wales

You aren't giving us much to go on; please can you give some examples of failed recordings (channel, programme name, date and time, whether it was a one off recording or a series recording)?

    I think you mean Marcella

Series finished last Tuesday so no way to set a test recording.

You need to check how many cables the box thinks you have

Enter the setup menu. Don't look at the display.

Press Red Green Yellow Blue Green Yellow Blue

    Select Antenna Setting.

What does connection type report ?
