Sorry we are getting nowhere with this, I follow your instructions as directed and All that happens is the freesat tune box opens and there is the postcode selection box ect and nothing else.

You must be pressing OK with Freesat Tune selected.

It's the row of coloured buttons above media and guide as shown in uploaded files push them in the numbered order shown.

Sorry my friend but I am doing all you advise the only difference with this reply is that shown in diagram the 4 coloured buttons are now shown with 567 as well so I assume after the 1-4 sequence 567 follows green, yellow, blue.
I have tried all but cannot access this hidden menu you speak about.

Do not look at the Because it will show a X indicating invalid push

    Press 1 Red
    Press 2 Green
    Press 3 Yellow
    Press 4 Blue
    Press 5 Green again
    Press 6 Yellow again
    Press 7 Blue again

    Works every time for me.

Really need to check you have two working tuners.

If you can't get this to work I will have to devise a multiple manual recording test.

    Here goes.

First make sure you have the two cables connected to the two outer connections with nothing on the middle one. If not turn off the box and correct the wrong connection.

    Then after rebooting the box.

press 949 on the remote to switch to BBC 2 HD (This is a horizontally polarised channel)

Press the red instant recording button under the Menu button

Press 972 on the remote to switch to BBC 1 HD England.(this is vertically polarised) You will only be able to do this if tuner 2 has an independent feed from your lnb.

Press the instant record button again.

Bring up the recordings list and confirm you have two recordings in progress.

Well there's nothing wrong with your Foxsat. Guessing it was a CRID issue. Suggest you check the recording schedule for more than one recording from a single reservation.

If you find a duplicate recording before it fails. Post details. The custom firmware I have on my Foxsat-HDR makes it easy to show the programme and series crid codes.
