Although recordings show as failed on BBC 4 HD and BBC3 HD on my HDR T2. I deleted the BBC3 'recording' and the free memory increased by 4 GB. I can record BBC4 HD on my Sony Bravia KDL 32W 653 to a USB memory stick and view playback OK.

It is looking like the problem with these recordings is not the main title.ts file but the title.nts and title.hmt 'sidecar' files that are also generated by the Humax, as highlighted by Brian in #34. The title.ts file isn't zero length, it is just being reported that way
Humax towers are very quiet on this issue.
Come on guys keep your customers informed of developments.
This sounds like the exact same problem as was experienced on the Foxsat HDR when the Olympic HD channels were added last year. The ts files were being created but zero length nts files resulted in the box reporting recordings of less 30 seconds. This was resolved with a firmware fix from Humax.
Forgive me if I'm stating the ble**in obvious, but since BBC1 & BBC2 HD work fine, and in my case BBC3 HD does not. Isn't it logical that there is a difference in the transmitted data by either the BBC, Red Bee, or whoever inserts this data. My question is if it is part of the spec, why has it been changed?
same problem for me Firmware 1.03.06 with 2.2 cfw, signal from Crystal Palace.
...and same problem for me...
Any fixes yet for this?
Cheers
I'm still unable to record BBC3 HD via the Heathfield TX on my HDR fox T2. As a retired broadcast engineer I would feel that I had let the customer down over this problem. BBC, Humax should be ashamed, nobody has even acknowledged that a problem exists for at least 2 weeks.
Sadly I must say that I'm glad to be out of it.

I agree it is pretty dreadful that neither the BBC nor Humax have even acknowledged the problem exists, never mind where the fault may lay or when it might get fixed. Sadly this is normal service (or lack thereof) for Humax.
