The BBC rarely, if ever admit to any mistakes on their part, even when they are to blame.

I've already reported that Humax Towers were alerted, and that means to someone who can and does make a difference, however
with all platforms in lockdown for the holiday period there was not much chance of a fix forthcoming for public release.

I'll update when there is something new to publish.

BBC 3 HD recordings appear to working for me as of tonight on HD/HDR T2 and HDR 2000T.

Edit: Now realised why timers started working See this post

I managed to record The Bridge on BBC Four HD on Saturday. I've changed nothing, just thought I'd give it another go and it worked!

There is a utility called badnts which makes these faulty recordings playable, over on the Custom Firmware website and associated Wiki

Thanks for the heads up, if I get a failed recording I'll check it out. So far though all BBC 3/4 HD recordings are working for me, not a single failure.

I failed to get a working recording of The Bridge on Saturday (again) so tried a test recording of a random BBC Four HD programme on Sunday, which worked perfectly. Can anyone explain this? This all seems a bit of a lottery.

I've just tested it tonight on a 2000t and it still fails on that. I've never been able to record a single thing from BBC3HD on that box and nothing has changed. I do *not* have COM7 as I get my signal from Mendip.

To confirm, does the HDR-2000T also suffer from the new HD channel recording problem? It has been well discussed with respect to the HD and HDR-Fox T2, but I've not really heard about the 2000t having the same problem.

HDR 2000T suffers from same problem - it did for me until Mon 6 Jan when BBC 3 HD suddenly started to record OK.
