Can you give a few more details.

Please would you clarify by what you mean by 'realy mucked up'?

If you are having reception issues then from what you have said it sounds like it is ether your aerial or your amplifier or your amplifers power source or your aerial connections or your aerial leads or a faulty box or a miss-tuned PVR or the signal is too week for the HDR-2000T but was OK with your 9150T.

Things to consider, and also report, to help track down the fault(s) include:

whether the impossibility to watch channels has been from the start or has started more recently. If more recently the what could have triggered this? a retune?

If you still have your 9150T or any other freeview box is that OK when connected to the same aerial lead?

when watching bbc channes, the picture freezes and sound gets distorted. with a recorded program there are lots of lines across the screen. ats a new recorded and new tv less than 6 months old, never had a problem to start with, only in the last week or so. other channels are fine.

Sounds to me like you need to do a retune, probably picking up from multiple transmitters so best to do a manual scan using just the specifics for your locality.

Is it worse on the HD channels? We find in very high wind we have to watch/record in SD, which is fine.
