Having got my HDR 1000S (I think - it doesn't say and neither do the manuals!) up and running successfully, I thought I'd give the freesat app a go on my iphone.

Both phone and freesat box visible on the network when I interrogate the BT HomeHub 3 router, but the phone doesn't see the box. Similar happens with the Panasonic Viera app that I have for my smart tv. Sometimes phone sees tv, sometimes it doesn't. Always with the network showing both as recognised.

I have been told that BT hubs don't support DLNA. Is this the source of the difficulty?

Working fine on my Homehub 3.
Have you registered on the freesat site and paired the code with your freesat ID?

I used to have a homehub 3 and dnla wouldn't work when movies were stored
On my pc and my pc and hdr1000 was connected using homehubs. If I used wifi on pc it would be ok.

Registered and paired. It's more to do with the router as previous attempts to operate Viera tv through it's app were intermittent.
