When recording 2 or 3 channels while watching another I am getting video freezing while Audio is fine.
    What might be causing this.
Also on some recordings I get noise bars / picture breakup on playback.

    Welcome to our Forum

Are you sure the unit is tuned to the correct, and only one transmitter?

I had break up/freezing this morning for a while sometime between 11 and 12. This was happening on BBC1 and BBC2 not on ITV. (All HD) it seems to have cleared now.

I suspect this is a transmission problem as I am suffering continuous picture stuttering on ITV HD and C4 HD, despite having (according to the signal test) 81% strength and 100% quality with NO indication of signal drop out at all.
I am on the Sutton Coldfield transmitter.

I agree. I'ts just returned and I have the problems on the main 4 channels (HD) and I'm also on the Sutton Coldfield transmitter.

I am on the Mendip transmitter.
If I watch a program via the FVP and have stuttering and switch the TV to direct view I have no stuttering so it would seem that it is not a transmission problem.

My problems with the stuttering picture (Sutton Coldfield) seem to have cleared. I've had no instances of this problem for a couple of days now.
