Was likely to have been one or more of the channels that were renamed Christmas something or other and have now been renamed back to their original.

These cosmetic changes can be ignored as can changes to the LCN (channel number). As has already been said, don't bother retuning unless you cannot access any channels of interest.

The main change seems to be Film4+1 moving back to a SD (DVB-T) MUX from the DVB-T2 MUX it was on. Not so much an issue for 4000/5000 users as for 9200/9300 users.

Should the 5000t have a pop up message to say there are new channels or channel changes? My TV popped up with a message last week but I've not seen anything on my 5000t.

It is currently showing a message on channel 42 to retune to update the channel name from Travel to DMAX. However this is broadcaster generated and in this specific case only optional for the name - logo is done.

TV updated the name before the message had chance to show!
