I purchased the Humax box in January 2020 for use with an LG Oled 55inch tv.

A couple of weeks ago a small green hue appeared on the screen towards the top right
side. It is a small box shape and is more visible dependant on the back ground colour.
I contacted LG who suggested I do a pixel refresher and a picture test screen. This I did and the test picture is perfect. So I think it is a problem with the Humax box?

    Has anyone had this problem?
If so how did you resolve it?
    Thanks

I would try replacing the HDMI cable and/or a different HDMI port on the TV

No point in swapping cables Graham, it's screen burn/image retention caused by the volume mute symbol (or some other static image).
I have exactly the same on my oled. It is because the Humax offers no "screensaver" option and even though the TV will automatically dim (after a period) it is not enough prevent it from happening. My guess is because the icons are a pure cyan and quite intense. My TV has an image of the volume triangle and the pause icon with the progress bar above. It's only really noticeable on images of a certain colour.
I contacted Humax about the damage to my TV and they acknowledged receipt of the complaint and then did absolutely NOTHING to follow up.

Running a screen refresh (even from the system/engineers menu) doesn't clear it.

    It's very easy

Reduce the size to 1200 pixels Wide for landscape and 1200 pixels high for portrait. retain the aspect ratio.

If you take them with a phone they can be very high resolution so exceed the size that can be uploaded.

My phone creates 4032 x 1960 pixels on best setting creating a 6.74MB file.

You may have set your camera to use a lower resolution.

Screen grabs from a Full-HD monitor screen should be fine.
