In the HDR-1010s what type of cable is used to connect the hard drive - what's it called?

I'm thinking of trying a new cable to see if it manages to fix my hard drive issue..............like no-one else has thought of that.

    Thanks

It's a sata data cable, however I can't remember if the motherboard connector is a standard one. I wouldn't bother there are millions of these in computers and pvrs. It's much more likely to be a electronic component failure or a bizarre software bug.

There will also be a power connector cable. The motherboard end of that on a Foxsat-HDR is a non standard power connector (It's not the same as the one used on computer motherboards).
