when i have no recordings on the hard drive it still says 10% used its been like that from new without making recordings is this normal would be grateful if someone knows thanks joe

Space is needed for the record buffer (sized for HD recordings of up to 3 hours I think), The EPG, User space, Recording Schedule and the operating system - The space percentage will vary with disk size but yours looks OK.

thanks for your reply i downloaded the new software from a memory stick so will test if recordings from standby work when i come in from work tomorrow
