I’ve had a Humax HD 1000s. Had it for a few years now. Never had any issues.

I upgraded to a shield from a fire stick today, and now the humax keeps turning itself off.

It’s don’t it twice when I’ve switched over to the shield and twice when I’ve just been watching tv on the humax itself.

I’ve triple checked the connections etc and they’re all fine. The setting to turn it off after a certain amount of time is also off. Has been since I got the box.

Possibly a remote control clash situation. Try changing the code set for the Humax to the other 5 possible sets.

If it's a plug in dongle, could it be that CEC rears its ugly head yet again?
Or wot ^ said re RC code clash.

    Thanks for the replies

It seems the shield has several CEC settings so have disabled all of those and will see if it happens again.

The remote is Bluetooth so don’t think it’s that but will give the remote codes a go anyway.

    Thanks again.
