Is there anyway I can record an on demand program for later watching. I am aware that there is software that will download flv files - can I watch these via an external HDD via the Humax

You could record to a DVD or blueray recorder.

That may work ok for SD, but you will not be able to record HD content in HD even if using a Blu-Ray recorder.

I think this is the standard for On Demand services in general and not a Humax specific issue. Really annoying for people like me with very slow broadband.
Currently I am looking at various options to stream and record to a PC over night and then either setup a media center or just copy the videos to a memory stick and then plug it into the Humax.
