    Hi All

This is my first post here, so I hope it's in the right place.

I have just bought the HDR1100s, putting my original FOXSAT HDR into semi retirement. I am getting used to the new recorder, but have hit my first problem, which I need help with.
Connection to WiFi is fine, and everything works O.K. on catch up. On my fibre router, there is a USB port which (in the instructions) says can be used for streming media via a connected drive. When I connect a drive to this, the Humax can see the drive and I can access the files on it. However, when I play the contents of the files, they only play for about ten minutes, then it stops, and I cannot do anything but restart from the beginning, at which point it stops again in the exact same place. Is there something I am doing wrong? If I connect the drive to my Mac, I can play the video files all the way through, but via the Humax, I cannot.

    Can anyone please help.

    Pip

    Hi Barry

    Thank you for the welcome.

To be honest, when I plugged the drive into the back of the Humax, I could not see the drive anywhere, so I could not try it that way. I will have another go.
