Since moving to a mesh wifi system I cannot connect my Humax box to the internet. It sees my SSID and when I try and connect, it just scrolls around and does nothing. I've tried turning off the 5 GHz element of my TP Link Mesh system but that doesn't make any difference. Any ideas?

Does your password have spaces or special characters in it?
Do both the frequencies have the same or different SSID?

Hi both the frequencies have the same SSID and the password does contain a special character.

There are known problems with certain special characters. Assuming your router has all the normal protections active I suggest you try one composed on upper and lower case characters plus digits to see if that works. If not revert back.

You may need to reboot the router following the change as many routers cache it as part of the DCHP setup.

Make sure the router is currently broadcasting it's SSID.

You are right, didn't like the special character! Thanks. When loading on demand it then got stuck but, a quick power down sorted it out.
