Hi All. Can you help with this:
I am replacing an old foxsat box with the new 1100S. I want the biggest HDD. Humax have advise they only sell 2 TB drive in white, which would'nt look great in my AV Unit. I have discovered Leading Edge Concepts (leconcepts.com) a Humax and general AV retailer in Gateshead who advertise on web a black 2TB box. Called them and they advise (very upfront) that they buy box from Humax and upgrade HDD from 1TB to 2TB. They offer a 2 year "return to base" warranty. They have positive Trust Pilot reviews generally and for 2TB boxes bought by others. Has anyone experience or come across this retailer please? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks Guys

I've not come across them before although the site looks familiar. They're more likely to upgrade a 500GB to 2TB as it'll be cheaper for them.
Buy with credit card and that way you've extra protection as well as their 2yr warranty and if you live local even better and at least it'll save you spray painting a white one| Thu 12 Jan 2017 17:54:29 #2 | -
It is worth checking that they are upgrading with a CW/AV drive.

Repassac, thanks for commenting. Excuse my ignorance but what is a "CW/AV drive"....I.m guessing AV is a drive that can better handle Audio and Video material but CW?
