    Hi
Just received hdr-2000t 1tb a few hours ago.
One issue ive noticed is that i can not adjust the volume using the humax remote or front control panel whilst watching a HD channel 101,102,103,104. However volume adjustment works fine on SD channels.

Humax tech support says this is a known feature ... Which they cannot fix.

Seem odd to me ... Adjusting volume seems pretty fundamental to me.

Can anyone else adjust humax volume whilst watching a HD channel?

If it is like the HRD-FOX T2, the volume control Will work with HD channels, but Not with all TV's.

    On menu settings/preferences /audio

I changed digital audio output from multi-channel to stereo

I can now change volume on HD channels

Check the Humax TV setup menu option. If like the other Humax boxes there should be an option to turn off surround sound output.

This forces the box to output lpcm stereo rather than ac3 (matching the SD channels). The problem is down to the way the volume level is hard coded into a ac3 (Dolby Digital) data stream. The source audio on Freeview-HD channels is aac which the box transcodes to ac3 using the default settings.

I didn't type quite fast enough
