Having problems with the one I installed at my Mother's home. Set various things to record and one series record. For the second week running, when I went to play them the message 'failed to record' appeared on the programmes on channel 3, 4 and the only 1 out of 5 on BBC2.

I've checked for software updates on the machine and there were none. All the TV channels are working fine.

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you.

Only purchased it just before the London switchover early April!

Possibly due to having channels tuned in from more than one transmitter. Does it have any channels listed in the 800 range?

    Hi gomezz

    Thanks for your quick response.

I'll have to have a look at that - I'm going there again tomorrow.

If it is the case, would there be a solution?

Delete all channels and do a manual retune of just the six MUXes from Crystal Palace.

Thanks again. You were right about transmitter! Have now manually re-tuned. I couldn't find HD channels but thanks to the link you posted above solved the problem.

Fingers crossed it now solves the recording problem.

Did you remember to change from DVB-T to DVB-T2 when scanning the HD mux frequency ?

Yes I did eventually - but only after reading I needed to in the above link!
