My HDR1000s has suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. Last week we lost all signal but turning off and leaving for 10 mins got it going again. Yesterday it went off again without warning and has resisted all efforts to revive it. I've tried turning off at the wall and unplugging everything but no joy. All we get is "no signal" on the TV screen while on the humax box "free time" comes up and flashes for a few seconds when it's turned on and the it displays the last channel we were watching.
Is there any dummy's fix for this, I'm afraid I don't understand half the answers in the forum with their references to dowloads USBs, OTB's and whatnot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to our Forum
If the unit is displaying the channel name are you sure you have the correct input selected on the TV?

Thanks Barry but yes - it's on HDMI and all the connections are sound.

Well, you all may be pleased to know the good fairies came in the night and mended it. However who knows when the bad fairies will come back?
