I have an HDR1000s connected to my home LAN. I would like to watch recordings from the HDR1000s on my PC.I have set up WMP for streaming, however,WMP cant see the Humax.
Is it possible to stream from Humax HDR1000s to PC (windows 7)
What are the required settings?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The promised DNLA media server capability isn't yet available for the HDR-1000s. Currently the box only works as a client. Hopefully the required software update won't be too long in arriving.

Thanks for raising this and to Graham for giving me some hope that new firmware will include server software to allow streaming.

Do you know if this will also alow the Harddisk to become visable as a mapped networkdrive with a public folder?

I want to be able to archive recordings to my NAS drive.
