I live in the SW of England and I purchased the above equipment this week but getting poor receiption on the HD channels. The screen breaks up slightly (1 second intermittantly).

Is this because of the High Pressure weather system we are getting at the moment or do others get this interference using an aerial and living near the S.W. ?

No interference for me, living in Devon receiving from Caradon Hill Transmitter, but using a 500GB box.

Is the picture problem on live, recorded or both?

Have you checked that you are tuned to the correct HD Mux? What is the signal strength and quality on the affected channels?

That is definitely wrong. You need to do a manual tune. Instructions are at http://myhumax.org/forum/topic/transmitters#post-2336
