This is the original remote though there are cheaper replacements

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Humax-RM-F01-Remote-Control-for-Foxsat-HDR-Freesat-Box/282433602808?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908110712%26meid%3D29b0825668474435afb14750557753ed%26pid%3D100677%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D30%26mehot%3Dag%26sd%3D362115904010&_trksid=p2385738.c100677.m4598

And yes you can't set up the box for freesat without entering the post code. You might be able to do a non-freesat scan using the keys under the flap. Manual tune in menus. Select fta only to avoid hundreds of channels you can't watch.

U 7.52 is the loader not the software. It's not the latest loader but it likely doesn't matter. Latest is HPRSFCI 1.00.21 27 Jul 2012. Only way I know to reset a changed password is using the custom firmware add on from AV Forums.

Postcode with first 3 letters should work OK. eg B98 works on my box.

With the CF installed you can control the box using anything with a web browser.

when you do a factory reset there is a on screen keyborad option that you control from the cursor keys on the front panel
