Hi Graham and thanks for your response.
    903 ITV player works fine
    Connection type is DHCP
    Netmask: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Primary DNS : same as above
    Secondary DNS - zeroes
    MAC address: 28:32:C5:AC:88:6F
When trying to get iplayer it gives a message "something went wrong displaying the program" with '01100' in the bottom right of the message box

    Other questions ?

Sorry - missed the other q's

I can see On Demand and Showcase icons (and On Demand works apart from iplayer. I can use ITVon demand 4OD, Curzon, Youtube.)

The epg also works on BBC channels. I can go back one or more days, see the programmes etc, but when I select 'watch now' it launches the iplayer but then greys out and I get the 'something went wrong...' box again, this time with a number 2000 at the top.

This is a new one I have never seen before. Everything suggests your box is working as it should. The problem would appear to be external, perhaps a dns server issue (Out of my depth here). Have you any other way to access iplayer (your PC/smartphone/tablet for instance) ?

    Does that work ?

Yes, iplayer works fine on any computer. It's just the box that can't access it. Perhaps I should raise it with Humax?

Without anyone else affected I can't see what Humax can do . In any case it will be Freesat you need to contact or more likely your isp.

Could just be an iplayer problem. If so, it would be up to the BBC to fix it, so you could try contacting them.

But it might be more effective to report it to Freesat, given that Freesat have the BBC's ear and also have an interest in ensuring that all the OnDemand services are working properly following the recent troubles.

Thanks for the advice and confirming it's not just a straightforward problem. I'll get on to Freesat.

Have you tried resetting your router?

Not sure how to re-set the router, other than to say it gets switched off at the end of every day so it's rebooted on a daily basis.

Got a new interesting question now - I set the recorder to record BBC4 from 8-9pm today then BBC1 from 9-10pm, however it has failed to change channel at the end of the first recording and is now continuing to record BBC4 whilst claiming it is recording the show on BBC1. Any ideas? I only have one satellite input.
