My Humax powers down when not in use. I would like to trigger it to wake up as part of a home automation ‘scene’ using smartthings. Is there a way to do this without having to manually use the remote control ?
Is there a network command, DLNA command etc that could be sent to wake it up ?

Do you mention that because it is that the reason why it is off?
To stop that happening you could go into its settings menu and set it so that it doesn't power down when not being used.
You could go also go into its settings menu and set it so that it switches itself on at a specified time of day chosen by you.

When powered down both those areas are also powered down.

OK, thanks, I can try that.
Not ideal as presumably power down/standby consumes less power.
