Anyone using Homeplug Adapters with their Humax 1000s ?
If so what make/model have you ?
Are they better than going wifi ?

    Thanks

I use this Link to product not cheap admittedly, but I needed more then one connection, in fact I have had to add a hub as well now

    Works very well.

There are far cheaper solutions then this though, a pair of 200Mbps adapters can be had for around the £25 mark now.

I'm using dlink 200Mbps, mid-range ish. Got a bunch of them including the Wireless Access Point.

Wired is better than wireless because interference from other wireless devices, neighbours access points, baby monitors, microwave ovens...

I'd CAT 5e my house given the opportunity.

I use the The 500 triple because I have other pieces of equipment behind the TV that needs an internet connection.I also wanted it to be fast for streaming HD video from my PC.

We bought this device today and have connected to our broadband using these from ebuyer http://www.ebuyer.com/231266-d-link-200mbps-powerline-twin-pack-dhp-307av-b

Had no problems at all hooking this device up to my broadband with them

I use the 500mps Solwise AV home plugs and they are very reliable. They are more stable than WIFI and stream HD content without jitter. Watch out for size they are deep and the bottom of the devise is the plug so need plenty of hight above the carpet.

Got 4 TP-Link 200mps homeplugs around the house - works perfectly, albeit after some headaches getting them all talking to each other (it's 2 sets of different/newer/older models).

    Rock solid ever since.
